True Faith M.B Church was founded in 1993 by Pastor Gardner and 8 members in Prospect, TN. In 1995 True Faith M.B.Church under the guidance of the Holy Spirit elected Cary W. Orr as the new pastor.

In 1999, True Faith M.B Church broadened its vision as it underwent a name change to True Faith Ministries Inc, under this new move of God this organization has grown to over 200 members. Pastor Orr seeking spiritual leadership, in 2003, True Faith Ministries ( TFM ) became under the leadership of Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies, Inc where Bishop Sherman S. Watkins is the Presiding Prelate founder and Bishop T.D. Jakes is the Vice Prelate.
